Pakistan’s brick kilns employ an estimated 4.5 million people, many of them in debt bondage. Children grow up working beside their parents with no access to schooling. We go to them.

Our Approach

Salient makes building websites easier than ever before.

Community Entry

We build trust with kiln owners and community elders before any enrollment begins. We explain our model, show our credentials, and address concerns directly.

Family Outreach

Our female community officers visit families — especially mothers — to explain the program. We address fears about lost income and demonstrate how education leads to better earnings within a few years.

On-Site & Nearby Learning

Where possible, we establish learning centers near or within kiln settlements. We also provide transport to our main campuses for students who can travel.

Flexible Scheduling

We offer morning, afternoon, and weekend sessions to accommodate families that depend on older children's labor during peak seasons.

Skills-First Curriculum

Our curriculum prioritizes practical, income-generating skills: IT, medical technology, hospitality, construction management — courses that lead directly to employment.

Career Pathways & Employment

We provide mentorship, career guidance, and job placement support for stable, meaningful employment opportunities.

Brick kiln settlements are often remote, with no nearby schools. Families are frequently in debt to kiln owners, making any alternative to child labor feel impossible. Children miss the enrollment windows of mainstream schools. By the time they are free, they are too old for standard classroom settings.
