In Pakistan, rising inflation and low factory wages force many families to send their children to work instead of school. LAMHA Foundation works tirelessly to break this cycle by providing completely free skill-based education, dignity, and sustainable opportunities to children of factory workers and low-income families.
We treat every donation as a sacred trust — funds that directly help restore childhoods, provide books, uniforms, transport, and quality training across our campuses in Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan. This Chargeback Policy ensures transparency and protects our ability to support students without interruption.
1. What is a Chargeback?
A chargeback occurs when a donor contacts their bank or card issuer to reverse a donation transaction. While chargebacks are meant to protect consumers from fraud, they can severely impact charitable organizations like LAMHA Foundation by reducing funds available for education and forcing us to divert resources away from children in need.
2. Our Policy on Chargebacks
All donations made to LAMHA Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable. We strongly discourage chargebacks for the following reasons:
- Your contribution is immediately used to support free education programs and break the cycle of child labor.
- Chargebacks create financial losses for the Foundation, including bank fees, which reduces our capacity to help deserving students.
3. Acceptable Reasons vs. Unacceptable Reasons
We will only cooperate with legitimate chargebacks in cases of proven fraud or clear technical errors. Chargebacks initiated due to buyer’s remorse, change of mind, or after funds have already been allocated to students are considered inappropriate and may result in:
- Permanent ban from future donations.
- Reporting to relevant authorities if deemed fraudulent.
- Recovery of any associated costs from the donor where legally possible.
4. Before Initiating a Chargeback
We kindly request that you first contact us directly if you have any concerns about your donation. In many cases, we can resolve issues quickly and amicably without involving banks. 5. Consequences of Chargebacks
- Repeated or unjustified chargebacks may lead to legal action under the laws of Pakistan.
- We reserve the right to share relevant information with payment processors and authorities to prevent abuse of our donation system.
- Any donation reversed through chargeback will result in the cancellation of associated sponsorship benefits or receipts.
